Frederic Cayley Robinson - The Day of Rest
Last week brought the resolving of barriers through love. This week puts questions of family and community over romance and scoring a hit.
It's an emotional week that can bring up themes in regards to our emotional bonds. It can bring awareness on one-sidedness and imbalances in the give and take of our relationships. Where do we lack emotional, physical or otherwise support? It might clearly show where we are over-invested in work and where we might want to take a step back to take more rest and regeneration time. Do friends and family give us this time, or don't they respect it?
If someone really needs to be removed from our friend circle or from a work team because their demands are way too high, this is a week where it might naturally happen or naturally feel right to make that happen and to part ways.

A purposeful work or profession that frees us rather than cages us
- 30 August 2019 3:14 UTC: Sun in 188.8.131.52^ (Virgo) trine Uranus R in 184.108.40.206 (Taurus)
Enjoying alone time from or while caring about others and their resources. Balancing out tendencies to give too much. Finding more self-care and rest for oneself. Where might we be doing things for other because we feel the need to prove our worth and because we crave to feel seen and appreciated? This can bring the removal and severing of bonds with people, who demand way too much and who don't respect other people's limits and healthy boundaries. This can lead to saying goodbye to people who only want us for what we give to them, but not for our character and for giving in return and keeping a balance. It can be a goodbye to one-sided investedness.
This is a transit that could show us what kind of work we love to do. 2019 has been a roller coaster for many when it came to finding an authentic occupation and work. This transit can bring more clarity on what we enjoy to invest our energy into.
Super New Moon - Being Called to Commit and Deliver, but not necessarily knowing (yet) if the energy and will is there. Understanding Codependency and excessive Clinging. Finding Freedom or Staying Tied
- 30 August 2019 10:37 UTC: SUPER NEW MOON (#2/3) in 40.2.1^v conjunct Venus in 40.6.6^v and Mars in 40.3.1v, Earth in 37.2.1, Mercury in 59.3.2, fully open Spleen and Ajna // 2/4 Cross of Planning
(Black Moon Lilith of the previous full moon: 63.1.2^ (Pisces)
(Black Moon Lilith of THIS new moon: 63.2.6 (Pisces)
(Black Moon Lilith of this coming full moon: 63.4.5 (Pisces)
Basically, this moon cycle is about the recognition that it is better to be alone than to have people constantly asking you to deliver things and to take on too much. It is about taking the time to evaluate commitments and doubts on commitments.
Problematic: Arrogance and being overwhelmed by doubt. Cutting off others out of arrogance, lust for power and an inability to share responsibility.
Productive: Cutting off only those who truly deserve it, who don't play fair and make unreasonable demands. Finding structures of interaction. Sharing one's doubt with others, rewarding them for their effort and staying on track (whatever that track might be). Accepting confusion as a temporary process, that sooner or later will be resolved and lead to clarity on our commitments.
This new moon starts a monthly cycle that is about trying to be included, finding a new social form and having patience with one's oppressors. (Self-)Oppression can come from impatience and putting time pressure on others. Oppression can come from suspicion and doubt. Oppression can also come from putting unrealistic demands onto others and pressuring them to fulfill them: expecting others to be genius and to deliver, yet not being able to be a genius success oneself.
The masculine archetype is more likely to struggle with the first, the feminine archetype is more likely to struggle with the latter. The point is: how do we deal with it gracefully?
Talking things through. Seducing through Opinions
- 31 August 2019 17:56 UTC: Mercury in 220.127.116.11 (Virgo) waxing quincunx Chiron R in 18.104.22.168 (Aries)
Problematic: Seducing others selfishly with opinions and concepts that serve only the one who leads, but not the one who follows. This can be a guru and false leader transit.
Productive: Learning to overcome obstacles and barriers through the openness to other viewpoints and by talking about the different perspectives and new viewpoints.
Letting each other relax and not overburdening each other
- 1 September 2019 14:10 UTC: Mercury in 22.214.171.124^ (Virgo) trine Uranus R in 126.96.36.199 (Taurus)
1 September 2019 18:48 UTC: Venus in 188.8.131.52 (Virgo) trine Saturn R in 184.108.40.206^ (Capricorn)
Being able to care and help others with their problems, but also knowing when to stop. Understanding when to take a rest from caring about others. This also is about the feminine energy recognizing that she might not have the resources to fulfill either the demands of others, or that there might not be the necessary resources for some kind of transition and something new being born. Ideally, this brings the awareness to seek assistance from others, who can help, and to not take a blindly optimistical risk, only to crush later.
Just because people call us to commit to a new beginning, it doesn't automatically mean that we have what it takes, or that we are ready for it.
Problematic: Struggling alone, feeling as if there is no one to turn to and not being able to ask for help. Taking on too much of a burden or too much of a risk that later can pull the rug out from under our feet.
Productive: Knowing when to ask for help. Recognizing that there are friends, colleagues, family and other people who can help when we need it. Sometimes, all it takes is to let the right people know about our struggles, even when it is a difficult thing to share.
The following two days will mainly be about codependency, especially about male codependency that can lead to messed up relationship choices. It's a forking of the path: do we overcome these patterns, or not?:

Frederic Cayley Robinson - The Long Journey
This can bring some kind of rescue mission for the right thing - or for the wrong thing. It makes all the difference to be able to say no to what doesn't feel right.
It can bring out the inability to be alone and commit too quick. Where love becomes hate. This is a transit that can truly help the masculine archetype to finally understand and clearly recognize long held codependent patterns that kept them stuck far away from purpose and from the right commitments. Giving and assertiveness can be great when it truly feels correct to deliver - and it can be very detrimental when we only do it for affection. It can be great to help the right people in the correct time and to assert ourselves to a project or problem. It can be detrimental to get sucked out by the wrong people at the wrong time without being given enough rest. Are we valued only for what we deliver, or are we valued also as the person that we are and given our breaks?
The feminine archetype might be confused about commitments but is likely to have much more patience to wait for clarity and less of an urge to sacrifice her freedom and self-sufficiency. What are the right relationships?
These two divergent viewpoints can apply to separate individuals, but they can also be conflicting energy within the same person. This can bring us confusion about commitments, yet a pull to rush into commitments without having clarity, because of an inability to sit with the process and to evaluate patiently.
Cutting off leeches and people in the way to purpose. Deep change through understanding who we need to sever ties with. Hate for people or love for the new found freedom
- 3 September 2019 8:13 UTC: Venus in 126.96.36.199v (Virgo) sextile North Node in 188.8.131.52 (Cancer)
3 September 2019 15:39 UTC: Mercury conjunct Mars in 184.108.40.206^v (Virgo)
4 September 2019 1:40 UTC: Sun conjunct Mercury in 220.127.116.11^v (Virgo)
This is the masculine archetype understanding codependency, recognizing where they are being used, cutting off leeches and removing those from their life who really can't be tolerated. Who or what can we AUTHENTICALLY commit to?
Problematic: Structural hate and cruelty. Getting stuck on stereotypes. Letting issues with one individual person grow into generalized hatred instead of letting go and enjoying the new found freedom. Misogyny after cutting out the leechy and clingy ex. Cutting out an antisocial greedy jew and then hating on all jews. Being treated shitty by a white, black (,mixed etc) person and then hating on the color (literal black and white thinking).
Not recognizing the value of the new found freedom. Getting sucked back into confusion, losing perspective, being impatient with new beginnings and acting too quickly from impulsivity.
Productive: Removing those from power over us or over others who truly deserve it and who just can't be tolerated for their lack of social considerateness. Understanding some really irrational hatred and stereotypical thinking that we previously might have fallen for. Overcoming such kind of thinking. Having patience with new beginnings, even if everything might seem confusing. Not over-reacting out of confusion.
The next will be about mental pressure, remembering, confusion and doubt.
